6. What is the advantage of DC motors?

Calm starting and speed regulation performance, wide and smooth speed regulation range, strong overload capacity, and little influence by electromagnetic interference; DC motor has good starting characteristics and speed regulation characteristics; The Torque of the DC motor is relatively large; Maintenance is cheaper; Compared with AC, the DC motor is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

7. What is the advantage of centrifugal motors?

They create higher pressure differentials to push air out, therefore creating a higher cfm.

8. My machine comes with a 3 prong power plug but I don't have a power outlet.

Simply cut the plug and peel off the rubber around the three copper wire exposed, connect them to the main power source using the crimping cap provided. Match the color of the wires. If you don't have a ground wire, just put the crimping cap on by itself.

Cleaning your range hood is a key to maintain its performance, as the grease builds up inside the machine, the venting space gets limited, decreasing its efficiency.

If there is a big change in the venting power, check whether your machine's damper is stuck. It is the flapping 2 piece metal placed between the top venting opening and the ducting. Sometimes it won't fully open up due to the grease buildup. Clean it or remove it will solve the problem.
